2. Subject and Purpose of the Terms

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “GTC”) govern the mutual rights and obligations between the Operator and clients (customers) in connection with the provision of accommodation services and spa procedures within the premises of Castle Svijany and the Beer Spa Svijany. They are binding for all bookings, reservations, and gift vouchers.

3. Ordering Services

Hotel

  • Reservations may be made via e-mail, the online booking system, or by phone.
  • Upon confirmation, the client receives an accommodation voucher specifying the services included, pricing, and dates.
  • The accommodation provider reserves the right to modify the agreed conditions of stay in justified cases (e.g., force majeure).

Beer Spa

  • Bookings are made online at www.pivnilaznesvijany.cz or in person at the reception during opening hours.
  • A booking becomes valid only after full payment of the service price.
  • The beer spa services are intended exclusively for persons over the age of 18. Verification of meeting the minimum age requirement of 18 years is carried out during the online reservation process in the form of the customer’s declaration in the reservation form. When using the service, the operator is entitled to request the presentation of an identity document for the purpose of age verification. If the participant fails to prove that they have reached the age of 18, the operator is entitled to refuse to provide the service without any entitlement to compensation. This restriction also applies to the use of services purchased through gift vouchers.

4. Cancellation Policy

Hotel

  • Free cancellation: up to 7 days prior to arrival
  • 50% of the reservation price: if cancelled less than 7 days before arrival
  • 100% of the reservation price: if cancelled less than 2 days before arrival

Cancellations must be submitted electronically (e-mail with delivery confirmation) to hotel@zameksvijany.cz.The decisive moment is the date and time the e-mail is sent. For larger groups, individual cancellation terms may be agreed.

Cancellation fees will not be charged in cases of documented serious reasons (death, hospitalization, serious illness, natural disaster, etc.), provided such documentation is submitted within 3 days of the event. The cancellation fee constitutes a lump-sum compensation for damages pursuant to Section 2330 of the Czech Civil Code.

Beer Spa

  • Cancellations or changes are permitted no later than 48 hours before the scheduled procedure.
  • Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@pivnilaznesvijany.cz.
  • Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

Refunds:

  • More than 48 hours before: 100% refund
  • Less than 48 hours before: 100% cancellation fee

Gift Vouchers

  • For gift vouchers purchased online without a fixed date, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion, pursuant to Section 1829 of the Czech Civil Code.
  • A voucher is considered redeemed if the reservation is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival. After this period, no substitute performance may be requested.
  • If the reservation is cancelled more than 7 days before arrival, the voucher holder may request an alternative date, subject to agreement with reception. If the alternative date is not used, the voucher becomes void.
  • The gift voucher is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The specific expiry date by which the gift voucher may be redeemed is always stated directly on the gift voucher.
  • The gift voucher may be redeemed exclusively for the services or up to the value stated on the gift voucher. Any unused services or unspent financial balance stated on the gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash nor substituted with other services or products.

6. Course and Rules of Procedures in the Beer Spa

  • Clients must arrive no later than 10 minutes before the start of the procedure.
  • Late arrival does not entitle the client to an extension or financial compensation.
  • Clients must present their voucher upon arrival (printed or electronic).

Prohibited within the spa facilities:

  • Smoking
  • Use of drugs
  • Open flames
  • Entry in outdoor footwear
  • Use of personal glassware

Visitors must comply with the Operating Rules of Beer Spa Svijany (available for download in PDF).
The spa is accessible only to persons aged 18 and over.

Clients are responsible for their behaviour and any damages caused, including cleaning fees (CZK 2,000) or compensation for damaged inventory.

7. Rights and Obligations of the Client

  • The client is entitled to receive services in the scope and quality corresponding to the paid order.
  • The client must observe the procedure rules and follow staff instructions.
  • By making a reservation, the client confirms that they are over 18 years of age and consents to the processing of personal data under GDPR.
  • The client must follow all safety instructions and report any injury to staff without delay.

8. Obligations of the Operator

The Operator is obliged to:

  • provide services in accordance with the confirmed order,
  • inform the client of any changes with adequate notice,
  • ensure safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.

9. Health Recommendations – Beer Spa Svijany

Persons with high blood pressure, post-cardiac surgery patients, pregnant women from the third month of pregnancy, and individuals allergic to proteins, yeast, or hops should consult their doctor before visiting the spa.

10. Final Provisions

  • These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of all reservations, bookings, and vouchers.
  • The Operator reserves the right to amend or update the GTC; the current version is always available at www.zameksvijany.cz.
