EEA and Norway Grants

EEA grants and Norwegian funds are a contribution from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reduce economic and social disparities and to strengthen bilateral relations with the 16 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics.


Institute of Archaelogy, Iceland

The aim of the Icelandic Institute is to research and raise awareness of archeology and related fields. The emphasis is put on developing and improving individual members in areas related to archaeological research , cultural heritage and revising legislation antiques .


A community of people from a benefit corporation Archa 13, which aims to raise the level of presentation of cultural and historical monuments in the Czech Republic. Therefore, they try to revive the old crafts, to promote the protection and preservation of monuments of all kinds and prepare nonfiction programs for children and youth in the spirit of Comenius motto "school by game".



Liberec Region

The second least populous region in the Czech Republic is also among the most forested. On its territory is the oldest national park Giant and the oldest protected landscape area - Bohemian paradise. Thanks to natural resources Liberec region is attractive for tourists.



Svijany municipality

Beautiful municipality with a rich history located on the right bank of the Jizera about 6 km from the town of Turnov. The proximity of the Bohemian Paradise and many natural beauty makes it an attractive tourist destination.


National Heritage Institute in Sychrov

Territorial Heritage Administration on Sychrov manages 18 heritage buildings in Liberec, Pardubice and Hradec Kralove region. Its mission is not only the administration monuments as such, but also care about the furniture and finding ways how to economically and with love approach the State entrusted historical buildings.


North Bohemian Museum in Liberec

North Bohemian Museum in Liberec is the oldest museum of applied arts in the oldest in the Czech lands. It has an exceptionally rich collections from all fields of interest, even though historically there has been an emphasis on glass and textiles.
