Hotel & Accommodation

• What are the check-in and check-out times?

  Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
  If you wish to arrive earlier or leave later, please contact the reception — if possible, we’ll be happy to accommodate your request.

• Is the hotel reception open 24 hours?

  The reception is open daily year-round from 7 am to 8 pm.

• Does the hotel have an elevator?

  Yes, all rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and are accessible by elevator.

• Is accommodation suitable for children?

  Yes. Children under 3 years stay free of charge (no extra bed provided).
  We can provide a baby cot (100 CZK/night) and other equipment upon request (changing table, potty, toilet seat).

• Can we bring pets?

  Yes, pets are welcome for 250 CZK/night.
  Exceptions apply to selected apartments (Chateau Suite, Family Suite Exclusive, Deluxe Suite, and Four-Bedroom Deluxe Suite), where pets are not allowed.

• Is parking available?

  Yes, free parking is available at the hotel car park or behind the chateau.
  There is also an Innogy charging station for electric vehicles.

• Is there a common room for guests?

  Yes, there is a newly opened lounge on the ground floor, accessible 24/7 for hotel guests free of charge.
  It includes a small kitchen, seating area, TV, library, and children’s corner.

• How can I pay for my stay?

  You can pay by bank transfer, card, or cash at reception.

• Do you offer half board or dining options?

  Half board is not available, but you can enjoy meals at the Svijany Brewery Restaurant right next to the chateau.
  Breakfast is always included in your stay.

Beer Spa

• How long does the beer bath last?

  The entire experience, including relaxation on the straw bed, lasts about 60 minutes.
  The recommended bath time is 20–30 minutes.

• What does the beer bath include?

  A beer bath in an oak tub with brewery ingredients, unlimited Svijany beer “Zámek”, traditional pretzels, and relaxation on a straw bed afterwards.

• Is the beer bath suitable for children?

  No, the beer spa is for adults only.

• Do I have to be naked, or can I wear a swimsuit?

  You may enjoy the bath naked or in a swimsuit.
  If you wear a swimsuit, we recommend rinsing and washing it immediately after the procedure.

• How do I book a spa session?

  Advance booking is required – online or via reception.
  Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled session.

Chateau Svijany & Tours

• What are the opening hours of the chateau?

  • April–May: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • June–August: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • September–October: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • November–March: by appointment only

• Can I visit the chateau without a guide?

  Yes, self-guided tours are available year-round.
  In summer (June–August), we also offer Sunday guided tours.

• Is the chateau wheelchair accessible?

  Partially – the garden, courtyard, and most exhibitions are accessible (except for the cellars).

• Are there activities for children at the chateau?

  Yes – children can enjoy chateau and outdoor quizzes, a playground and an archaeological sandbox.

• Is there a café at the chateau?

  Yes – in July and August, the Zámecký šenk café on the courtyard serves coffee, ice cream, desserts, and homemade lemonade.

• How long is the voucher valid?

  Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

• Can I choose between printed and electronic vouchers?

  Yes. We send electronic vouchers by email (immediately when paid online by card, or within 7 days after receiving payment by bank transfer). Printed vouchers can be sent by post in an elegant form for an additional fee of CZK 50 upon request.
